Welcome to the Towcester Toy Library website

Unfortunately Towcester Toy Library will be closed for approximately 6 weeks commencing 13 September 2010 due to building works taking place in the Community Centre. As soon as we have a definite re-opening date, it will be posted here.

We have toys for hire from birth to 8 years old.
Membership is only £7 per year each family – free to people on income support.

As a member you can hire toys for 50p or £1 for two weeks
(depending on the size).

• a safe area for babies •
• toys for children with special needs •
• refreshments •
• nappy changing facilities •
• free parking •

Open every Thursday morning from 9.30 to 11.30am
including school holidays (except Xmas and New Year)

We aim to provide a friendly, welcoming environment where you and your children can meet and make new friends.

The Toy Library enables you to borrow:

• good quality toys covering all areas of child development •
• expensive toys that you may not be able to afford •
• unusual toys that are not sold in local shops •
• large toys that take up too much room to store permanently within the home •

The Toy Library also enables you to try out a toy (before buying and possibly spending money unnecessarily), to see whether it is suitable and your child enjoys it.
